FAQ

Short answers to the questions we are asked most. For product specific details see the specifications on each product page.

What does "for research use only" mean?

All compounds in this shop are sold as research chemicals for laboratory use. They are not medicines, supplements, foods or cosmetics, and they are not intended for human or veterinary use. We do not give dosing or medical advice.

In what form are the peptides supplied?

As lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed glass vials with a rubber stopper and aluminium cap. Lyophilised peptides are stable in transit and in storage. The amount in milligrams is printed on the label.

How should I store sealed vials?

Cold, dry and away from light. For storage longer than a few weeks keep the sealed vial at -20 °C. For shorter periods 2 to 8 °C is sufficient. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles.

How is a peptide reconstituted?

With bacteriostatic water. Add the solvent slowly along the inside of the vial, let the powder dissolve without shaking, and keep the solution refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C. Reconstituted solutions are far less stable than the powder, so reconstitute only what is needed.

Do you provide a certificate of analysis?

Yes, for products marked "COA on file". These are collected in the lab-tested peptides category. Contact us with the lot number on your vial and we send the report for that batch.

Where do you ship, and how fast?

Across Europe, from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Delivery takes 1 to 3 working days. Peptides are shipped as dry powder, which is the most stable form for transport. Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout.

Can I return a product?

Unopened vials with intact seal can be returned within the statutory period. Opened or reconstituted products cannot be taken back for safety reasons. See our returns page for the procedure.
